Save the Children in Cambodia has hosted a visit for board members of Save the Children Korea

Save the Children in Cambodia has hosted a visit for board members of Save the Children Korea to three schools in our target areas of the implementing project and the previous project in Kampong Chhnang province.

On August 24 and 25, 2022, SC Korea’s board members visited the Prasat Cheangtorng and Preal primary schools in Rolea B'ier District and Kampong Krachab primary school in Boribo District which are supported by the “Safe Back to School – Pathways in Educational Equity and Resilience (PEER)”.

The two-day visit aimed to monitor the progress and needs of the PEER project for better planning in the next two years and to monitor the progress of the previous project - EQUAL, as well as meet the key stakeholders to better understand the situation of Cambodian children and learn the impact from the previous and current interventions.

In 2021, SC Korea (세이브더칠드런) and SCI Cambodia successfully completed two projects, namely Remote Early Learning (R.E. Learning) and Education with Quality Inclusive Learning (EQUAL), and launched a new project called “Safe Back to School – Pathways in Educational Equity and Resilience (PEER)” to support children’s continued learning during and after COVID-19.
